Here is a list of our events that we organize throughout the year. Please check out the events page for each individual event description and time.
Green Icons - Dry events such as a gym night or bowling.
Blue Icons - Water events.
Red Icons - Home type events.
Special Icons - Special or Club activities from other clubs are listed here at times.
Black Icons - Club leadership activities.
Club Day/Weekend Visits:
As a club we usually visit other landed clubs in the area and spend the day or weekend there. Clubs include Four Seasons, Glen Echo, Ponderosa, New Forest and Lilly Valley. These clubs host a number of events on certain days throughout the year such as volleyball tournaments and dances and the group attends when possible. Camping weekends are a favorite amongst some of the members.
Camping/Canuding weekend:
Several members of the group organize camping weekends with or without canuding which, simply put, is canoeing in the nude.
Day Bus trips:
From time to time the O.R.B. organize bus trips to nudist events or clubs in the area. These trips usually include a side visit to some other nudist or non nudist place.
Special Events:
O.R.B. will host special events such as the Talent night at a city hall where we get together to have fun amongst ourselves. Sorry no outsiders or politicians attend these events.
Hallowe'en:
Simply put our yearly Hallowe'en party hosted at one our members homes or a hall.
PicNic:
Bring along some food as these are our food outings were we host a picnic or event where one can bring some food and join in on our pot luck.
Volleyball Tournaments:
Various tournaments in June to August are held annually. O.R.B. members usually participate in these tournaments and enjoy the weekend outings. Anyone can be on a team The O.R.B. club normally welcomes children 11 years or older to be a part of our recreational level team to gain some experience in playing in a tournament. Ponderosa Resort usually hosts the first of the tournaments around the end of June whereas Four Seasons Resort has theirs on the Canada July holiday weekend. Glen Echo hosts one in August. Recently Sunny Glades club as become another club to sponsor an annual volleyball tournament. We hope to have a team participating at their next one. There is even a get together at White Thorne in the US for those members eager to get even more volleyball in before Summer’s end.
Bowling & Party Night:
5 Pin bowling at its best. Whether participating in a tournament of just bowling for fun the club has this event a few times a year. A bowling alley in downtown Toronto is rented for an evening of nude bowling and fun. This event usually limited to 40 people usually fills up fast. As most events this must be reserved in advance.
Gym Night:
Our Gym night complete with any games you may want to play as well as some exercises you can perform. Many people just come out to play a game or two of floor hockey, volleyball or any other game, while there are others who just want to work out and keep fit. There is something for everyone at this gymnasium. We have even had a magic show event here.
Wave Pool:
For this event we rent a wave pool in the GTA area and have an evening of wave pool fun. Around 150+ people usually attend the event and have a wonderful time playing in the waves or sliding down the large water slide.
Regular Monthly Swims:
The club rents several different pools at a variety of locations for different activities. Our once monthly swims have gone to twice a month many times of the year as demand for swims increases. Some of the pools have a sauna and/or hot tub, Even a large water slide in many of the pools we rent is a hit with everyone. For Kids, we have pools with shallow play areas and warm water to enjoy as well as our very popular Kids Carnival, which gets better and better each time. Of course we are still looking into renting even more pools to increase our variety in our swimming events.
Summer Boat Cruise:
Ever wonder what it is like to take a cruise in the nude around Lake Ontario? The O.R.B. stage this Summer Event that has people leaving the dock for a late afternoon or evening cruise around Lake Ontario. Nothing tops the evening more than passing Hanlan’s CO beach and seeing the sunset while enjoying a great meal of chicken or ribs with wonderful friends.
Home Events:
Throughout the year, the O.R.B. stage several home-style events where many can attend and have a great time socializing, exchanging food, even splashing around in a pool or two.
The Annual Christmas-end of year party is the social event at the end of the year especially for kids. With games and events and even a gift exchange this will continue to be a party to enjoy. There are even presents for the kids and in one case an indoor pool or hot tub to splash around in.
Featured Family Movie Night:
Want to watch a movie in the nude? O.R.B. members do in the comfort of a Home Event at a members home.
Murder Mystery Dinner Night:
Here is where some people play various characters and try to solve a murder while enjoying a pleasant meal.
Club Executive Meeting:
Regular meetings of the club executive at various leadership homes.
Special Events:
Throughout the year there may be special events (Events that are one time only) that are listed. From time to time we may also list another club's activity with a link to their page on a particular event. These icons look like the regular icons except for an orange bar around the entire icon denoting a special event or other club activity.
